Kenwood KDC-3031A DEMO Mode!!

Sorry if this has been asked before. I did look, but couldn't find any
thing.
I've just had a Kenwood KDC-3031A fitted.
Seems like a nice unit for the price (free actually, but that's a different
story...)

It is stuck in demo mode, keeps telling me all about its 'amazing' features.

Acording to the manual and Kenwoods web site, to turn demo mode off, you
just go into the menu, select DEMO mode and just turn it off. When I try to
do that, I can select 'demo mode' in the menu, but the selector switch
(Right hand side one) doesn't toggle ON/OFF like it does for other features.
Am I missing somthing, or have a got a faulty unit?

shop and buy somthing ;-)

Didn't think of holding the button in... why would they do that? why not
just press left/right to toggle it like the other options?

Should probably go and read the manual :-/ but that's at home, and I'm
here...
