Hi there,

I have just bought (via ebay) a standard Renault cd changer unit (made by
Alpine) that was taken from a 2003 Clio.

A was hoping to fit it to the head unit for my T reg 1999 Megane Scenic.
Unfortunately the lead that arrived with the changer has a different head
unit connector then that required for my standard radio/cassette head unit
(Phillips / Radiosat 6010 model 22dc461.)

The lead connector is a blue square with a series of 3/2/3 connectors.
My head unit connector appears to require an oblong with a series of 5/4
(with a space in he middle of the bottom 4.)

Is there an adaptor available for this lead, or would I need a whole new
lead? Is this changer even compatible with my head unit (from the
investigations I made prior to bidding on this item I thought it was, but
now I think I may have made a terrible error!!!)

Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks
Neil

The two vehicles use completely different changers, so it's unlikely
that you'll find anything to allow you to do this.
