Sony CDX L400X Car CD Stereo - MP3 compatible?

Hi,

I just got a new (to me) car and it's got a Sony CDX L400X CD stereo - but
no manual. I've had fun searching on google for a manual, and found a few
places that want to charge me £15 for a pdf file, but not managed to get one
for free. :-(

Apparently it's CD-R and CD-RW friendly. Can anyone tell me if it plays
MP3s, and if so can you recommend the best way for organising the files on
the disk (e.g. in folders or using long filenames, one/multi session).
