Im pretty sure this should be easy enough to sort out, but i have my
mums old voltwagen beta stereo from a 2004 polo. I have managed to get
this working almost totally properly. It needed a wire from the
positive terminal of the battery to two of the connectors on the back,
(one to get it to turn on and one to get thte back lights working). The
only problem is that it never remebers the secuirty code, i have to re
enter it each time i start up. I was wondering if anyone knew how to
over come this, i assume it is pretty simple.

edit: The two wires i hooked up to the battery are the car light, and
12+ memory, they are actually sharing one single connection to the
battery. I had had just the 12 + memory hooked up to the battery but
that would still forget the secuirty code.

it's coming from the positive terminal from the battery,

just wrapped a wire around the positive terminal, feed it through
various holes in the cars into thte back of the stero unit

I hope you put a fuse on it, near the battery end.

Christian.
