DAB Aerial for Blaupunkt DAB54

Hi,

I've got a DAB54 which came with an internal glass mount aerial. It
worked, but it wasn't great. Then it got broken when I had my
windscreen replaced (don't ask, I'm still arguing with Autoglass).

So, I need a replacement aerial.

I've currently got a combined AM/FM/GSM beesting mounted on the rear of
my Golf, and ideally, I'd like to get something similar but covering
AM/FM/GSM/DAB . However, it seems that such a thing is not on the
market. If anyone can point me at one, that would be great.

In the meantime, I'm trying to establish what my best option is for
DAB-only, preferably without drilling any more holes in my car.

Can anyone make a recommendation?

Thanks,

R.

Use google, I think Blaupunkt do one, not cheap as you will need a new
amplifier fitted.

Hi, I bought a Blaupunkt DAB54 quite a while ago and purchased the
glass antenna with it - the performance was really poor and could only
get reception in very good areas.

I have now just purchased a roof mounted antenna and the difference is
amazing. There is absoloutly no comparison. I have just driven my usual
journey to work and the signal was full all the time, even in places
where the FM stations drop out.

I know it means cutting a hole in your roof but a tool for £5.99 from
halfords and 2 hours of your time fitting it is, in my opinion, well
worth it.

You can grab the Blaupunkt DAB antenna from www.bluespot.co.uk for
£43.99 including postage.

Hope this helps,
Regards
