vauxhall cd30

Hello ,
have just removed a Vauxhall cc20 radio from my combo van and have fitted a
cd unit in place, the new unit works but the display goes into safe mode
after aprox 30 secs, the old radio does not have a code and the new ones
instruction book is identical and says the radio will not work in another
vehicle if stolen, I purchased the new cd player on ebay but need to find
out more.

This unit will need programming on the Vauxhall tech machine at the dealer.
They normally need the donor car details.
