Getting a car stereo fitted in Cambridge

I want to fit a stereo to my car that will take input from an iPod or
other MP3 player. I haven't the first idea how to go about this and got
no help from uk.rec.audio.car :(

I assume that the first step would be to consult someone who can tell
me what stereos I can fit in my car - is it likely the car dealer
(Mazda) would be able to tell me this?

As for getting the stereo fitted, can anyone recommend a place that
would do this? Or would it be simple enough that a dumbass like me
could do it themselves?

Thanks for any advice and apologies for the limited topicality.

Francis

Fitting it yourself shouldn't be too taxing but getting something half
decent for the money and not spending your money on something little better
the OE is harder.

This mob seem reasonable (and may well be along any minute now to say 'who
are you calling a mob') although I have only ever bought mail order from
them.
